What is World Beauty Championship (WBC)?+
An international online championship for beauty professionals. Participants do their competition work at their own workplace, upload photos and videos in their personal account, and an international jury evaluates the works anonymously.
How much does participation cost?+
€60 per nomination. You can choose several nominations in one or different sectors.
Which disciplines does the championship include?+
Eyelash extensions, permanent make-up, nails, aesthetic cosmetology, hairstyles & barber, hair extensions, brows, lash lamination, make-up, hair reconstruction and epilation.
How does the judging work?+
Every participant has their own number — the judges don’t know whose work they are evaluating. After judging, all score sheets are openly available to judges and participants.
Is the time to do the work limited?+
No. Working time is not limited, and even your own client can be your model.
When will the results be announced?+
Posts with the winners are published on the championship’s Instagram page on the day of the final.
Can I take part in the championship without any experience?+
Yes, of course! You can take part in WBC even if it is your first championship. It is an opportunity to gain new experience, assess your skill level and take the first step towards new professional achievements.
Do beginners compete against professionals?+
No. Categories at WBC are divided by participant level according to their work experience and the rules of the specific nomination. This allows artists to compete with participants of a matching level.
Where can I find the requirements for competition works?+
All requirements for nominations, categories, photos, video materials and evaluation criteria are set out in the official rules on the WBC website. We recommend reading the rules carefully before registering.
Is it worth taking part if I am afraid of losing?+
Yes! Taking part in the championship is not only a competition for a prize place but also an opportunity to gain experience, analyse your work and identify areas for professional growth. Even if the result does not meet your expectations on the first attempt, the experience you gain can become the foundation for future achievements.
Can taking part in WBC benefit my career?+
Yes! Taking part in WBC gives you the opportunity to receive a professional evaluation from an international jury, expand your portfolio and showcase your achievements to clients and colleagues. The awards you receive can help you promote your personal brand, strengthen your professional reputation and present your services.
